Making a difference for families with global stories of hope and healing.
Listen to this mother who doesn’t hold back on her feelings about having a son with an ASD diagnosis, figuring out how to recover him from illness, and dealing with school and work.
When her son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at ten years old, she felt the diagnosis was incorrect. So, she dove deep into the internet and conferences to figure out what turned her son from "normal" into a patient on multiple psychiatric drugs.
“In allopathic medicine, I think many times is missed. I believe, it seems to be, that the answer is a pill. For me, I don’t personally feel that a pill is an answer. It might be in the short term, but long term, no. You need to get to the bottom of the illness.”
Before moving her son to a full 360-degree plant-based protocol, she felt that dealing with him was a nightmare. Bartonella brought forth a lot of rages, anger, and cognitive issues. She says there was a laundry list of the behavioral problems that she can only describe as a nightmare.
She says the clouds lifted through treatment, the sun shone, and she could see her son reemerging. The little boy she loved once again became a joy to be around. At 14, her son is a typical teenager with straight A's on his recent report card.
